UNSW Raiders played with passion and heart throughout a nail-biting game against a tough opposition. Sadly, the scoreboard truely doesn’t reflect the success and culture within this club. UNSW Raiders defeated the Northern Sydney Rebels 22 – 8
Both the UNSW Raiders Men’s and Women’s team are going to represent in their respective bowl games the Warratah Bowl and the Opal Bowl next weekend! Firstly the Women’s secured a spot in the final with a tough win against the Sydney Uni Lions defeating them 28-16. Later in the day the UNSW Raiders Men’s secured their spot in the Waratah Bowl for the second year in a row beating
The NSW Wolfpack urgently need volunteers for a few nationals games to do chains and other sideline jobs. It starts next Sunday the 14th and continues on throughout the week. The UNSW Raiders have broken into the top 10 of the National Club Championship (NCC) rankings for the first time in club history. Previously ranked 13th, the club moved up four spots to 9th. The rankings that were released today was a huge shock to Coach Andrew Brundu saying that he was “stoked” at the ranking and attributed the success it to the new #FAMILY environment of the club.
This coming weekend is championship week! The Kookaburra, Opal and Waratah Bowls will all be contested. The UNSW Raiders Women will be defending their 3rd Opal Bowl against league newcomers Diamond Gridiron.
